Aufgaben

Tailor the scope description as needed for enquiry purposes Develop or adapt the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for construction works in line with proposal and project requirements, coordinating material take-offs from engineering Carry out in-house cost estimations for construction activities Collaborate with Procurement to tender construction works: + Prepare the technical enquiry package for subcontractors
+ Clarify and evaluate received quotations
+ Conduct benchmarking activities
Estimate the costs associated with temporary site facilities Calculate expenses related to site management and supervision during construction and commissioning Assess the costs of home office (in-house) support for construction Contribute to the Construction Summary with relevant input Provide ongoing support for the construction segment of the tendering process throughout the project execution phase Clarify and evaluate quotations, including benchmarking performance Perform post-calculation analysis for the construction portion of completed projects Profil

Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in construction estimation, preferably within the (chemical) plant industry Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and break them down into accurate cost components Ability to identify potential challenges in cost estimation and propose effective solutions Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and subcontractors Demonstrated capability to make informed decisions related to estimation parameters independently Das bieten wir
