Community Manager (m/f/x)

The position:

Join Daiichi Sankyo Europe as Community Manager and act as the link between our commercial business objectives and the core tech and data capabilities our Advanced Analytics team is building. You create the community, coordinate the development of educational material and support the Advanced Analytics team in communicating the results of the data science and data engineering use cases. Success means for you that deep insights generated through advanced analytics translate into impact at scale: you actively communicate the roadmap, results, facilitate sharing of experiences and learnings and bring together data generators and data consumers across the organisation.

You\'re known for presenting complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand and actionable recommendations for commercial business. Your engagement goes beyond facilitating informed-decision making; you drive implementation/deployment of digital content, solutions and services and ensure that we execute on insights. You empower others to fail, learn and grow and aren\'t afraid to roll-up your sleeves. This is your preferred way of driving high adoption of developed analytics, content and services among our business users and customers.

  • You build the community and facilitate the exchange of learnings between data consumers and data creators across the organisation and actively develop the understanding of data related concepts in the organisation
  • You create educational materials and presentations together with specialists on different data science, data engineering and data governance and management topics and organise events to faciliatate information exchange
  • You support the Product Owner and the Advanced Analytics Orchestrator in translating data science use case results,communicating the roadmap and assist the technical teams in creating courses and educational materials.You will play a crucial role in the ideation phase, facilitating exchange and business questions collection
  • You ensure internal and external visibility for the Advanced Analytics team by representing the team in various events, enabling networking and talent atraction
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Advanced Analytics Translators, Data Scientists & Engineers and IT to provide feedback on the use case developments and you support the collection of business questions from the community
  • You create a data sharing culture and supporting promotional materials to emphasise the importance of becoming a data driven business
  • Identify ways to capture new data (e.g., CRM, sensors), clear organizational hurdles to gain access to data and forge partnerships with 3rd party data providers
  • You collaborate with different teams: Digital Innovation Hub, Data Governance, Business Intelligence etc. and facilitate a holistic data culture in DSE
  • University Degree or Master or equivalent
  • 3+ yeras experience in a similar position in the healthcare or technology domain
  • Previous exposure to data analytics and data science teams, idealy creating data communities and enabling an internal as well as an external network
  • Ideally basic understanding of common machine learning techniques (Categorical Encoding, Random Forest, Decision Trees) and technologies commonly used (Database and Data Modelling concepts, Deployment tools (e.g. Cloud)) or willingness to learn from an expert team
  • Experience developing educational materials , bringing simplicity to highly technical topics and facilitating webinars and workshops to encourage exchange of insights
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex messages, manage expectations and trade offs to various business stakeholders
  • Strong problem solver with ability to push the solution and progress
  • High level of commitment, collaboration and an integrative personality
  • Excellent language proficiency in English (at least C1)
