Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing
7+ years in the life sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, or consulting services), with a strong focus on sales, business development and innovation ecosystem engagement
4+ years of experience in running venture backed startups with at least 1 exit.
Extensive experience in fundraising either as an entrepreneur or professional investor (ideally both)
Proven track record of working with or within start-up and scale-up environments, ideally with global exposure
Proven track record of (over-) achieving commercial targets (sales, revenue, profitability)
Relevant certifications in life sciences, sales, or innovation management are advantageous but not mandatory
Strong understanding of the global life sciences start-up and scale-up ecosystem
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills across cultures and regions
Ability to thrive in a matrix organisation and motivate cross-functional global teams
Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends and emerging opportunities
Proven success in pipeline generation, deal closure, and account expansion
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate opportunities and design tailored solutions
Self-motivation, focus, and resilience in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment

Tasks and responsibilities
Accountable for achieving EMEA sales, revenue, and profitability targets in the start-up and scale-up segment
Strategic Advisor to Startup client helping them with fundraising as well as building effective commercial strategies and plans.
Support clients in their business development efforts and oversee Arcondis staff engaged in supporting startup and scaleup clients.
Develop and maintain a strong EMEA-focused pipeline, including qualification, forecasting, and opportunity management
Ensure EMEA rollout and adoption of global campaigns, including industry events, content, and partnerships
Execute account management for EMEA start-up and scale-up clients, supporting their transition into long-term strategic relationships
Build and nurture strong relationships with regional stakeholders such as incubators, accelerators, venture capital firms, innovation hubs, and industry associations
Represent Arcondis at key EMEA industry events, conferences, and thought leadership platforms
Ensure all activities are aligned with Arcondis’ QMS processes and commercial governance standards
Provide regular updates to the Global Head Commercial – Start & Scale Ups and contribute to global planning processes
