Job Description

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our Radiography Systems business unit in Wunstorf, Germany. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving financial performance, managing complex financial operations, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a visible business leader and strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, influencing commercial, operational, and organizational strategies. Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with business objectives, profitability, and cash flow targets. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and key KPI dashboards to ensure accurate performance tracking and long-term success. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and lead the annual audit process. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, currency, and credit-related risks through effective risk management frameworks. Lead, mentor, and strengthen a high-performing finance team, driving a collaborative, results-oriented culture and attracting top talent.

Qualifications and Experience:

Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Demonstrated success as a CFO or senior finance leader within a technology-focused or similarly complex organization. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant tax regulations. Proven experience managing complex financial operations in a global business environment. Proficiency with systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; fluency in English and German is essential.
