Job Description

The CFO will partner with the President and the Operating Company leadership team to develop and execute and continuously evaluate business plans and strategies with a primary focus on enabling and accelerating profitable growth.


S/he will be involved in all significant business and operating decisions as well as potential business development initiatives. The CFO will be a trusted advisor to the Company leadership as well as a catalyst for driving operational performance and excellence.


The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial oversight across diverse global business areas, including commercial operations, manufacturing and supply chain, product development and R&D, and corporate reporting. They must be adept at leading within the Danaher Business System (DBS), driving process improvements across geographies and functions.


Additionally, the CFO will be expected to evaluate and evolve the global Finance function to ensure they operate efficiently, cost-competitively, and with the highest standards of integrity and service quality. A key priority will be strengthening organizational capability by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across both functions, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership

+ Partner with the President and L1 team to define and execute the company’s strategic direction.
+ Lead the development of annual operating plans, budgets, and financial targets aligned with long-term business goals.
+ Influence key business decisions through financial insights and scenario planning.

Financial Oversight

+ Oversee global financial planning, reporting, compliance, and statutory requirements.
+ Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
+ Maintain and enhance internal controls and capital governance across the organization.

Operational Excellence

+ Drive process improvements and margin expansion using DBS tools and methodologies.
+ Lead initiatives in cost management, pricing strategy, product costing, and manufacturing productivity.
+ Evaluate and implement best-in-class financial systems and IT tools to support business agility.

Team Development

+ Build and develop a high-performing global Finance organization.
+ Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous learning.
+ Coach and mentor leaders across finance to ensure succession readiness.

M&A and Growth Enablement

+ Support M&A activities including financial diligence, integration planning, and ROI analysis.
+ Collaborate with Danaher and platform leadership to evaluate strategic investments and partnerships.

Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred Financial leadership: minimum 15 years’ experience required in Senior Financial roles in a Global environment. Well-developed financial reporting and analysis skills with demonstrated ability to manage all elements of working capital to achieve superior results Navigating in large scale ERP environment and peripheral applications preferred Experience working in a complex manufacturing/capital equipment environment preferred with knowledge of cost accounting Deep understanding of US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition M&A and related integration experience a plus

Language



Fluent in English and one additional language preferred, German a plus

Travel (required estimated % of time)



This position requires International travel 20-30%
