WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Serve as the key knowledge holder and responsibility to ensure propellant and liner technology, formulations and manufacturing technology for rocket motors
Provide a technical support service to the Manufacturing Department during series production including design of formulations, process documentation and Safety Regulations
Implement processes and conduct adaptations for 3rd party technology
Develop new propellant and liner formulations for serial applications and a suitable tool environment
Support the quality assurance, rocket and system engineering areas with investigations and data analysis
Participate in design reviews and technical project meetings to support the achievement of technical and cost objectives
Prepare technical reports and presentations to local and/or foreign Clients during design reviews and other meetings
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Masters of Science Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Polymer Science
More than five years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing company in an explosive environment
Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a matrix-organisation
High degree of responsibility and self-discipline
Good computer literacy, specifically in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Good communication skills in English essential
The role calls for a focused, safety conscious individual with a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in an explosive environment
