You'll make an impact by

You begin by studying the current research and frameworks in distributed Large Language Models (LLMs), gaining an understanding of the existing landscape and identifying areas for your thesis focus Subsequently, you install and configure distributed LLM frameworks in testbed environments, ensuring they are set up to accurately measure network characteristics Following setup, you implement automated network configuration systems to streamline the process of testing various network conditions on LLM performance You then conduct comprehensive network traffic measurements, collecting data on how different network conditions affect LLM functionality and performance Finally, you evaluate the impact of these conditions, document your findings, and contribute insights towards optimizing edge AI deployments based on your research

Education

: You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on distributed systems or network engineering

Experience and Skills

: + Experience in analyzing current research and frameworks in distributed Large Language Models (LLMs)
+ Proficiency in installing and configuring distributed LLM frameworks in testbed environments
+ Skilled in implementing automated network configuration systems and conducting comprehensive network traffic measurements

Ways of Working

: You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to document and interpret complex data effectively
