Assistant Manager IT Solutions (M/F/D)

at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job misson:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software, data, and integration solutions that meet the needs of Kia customers and business teams, in the most efficient way in terms of time and cost, using state-of-the-art technology and methodology.

Your responsibilities:

Assist in analyzing business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Assist in the creation and documentation of solution architecture including system diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans

Assist in the identification, communication, and mitigation of risks and issues

Participate in the evaluation and selection of appropriate technologies to meet project objectives

Provide supervision, guidance, and support to project teams during all phases of IT projects

Work with development teams to ensure that architectural guidelines and best practices are followed during the implementation

Assess effort estimation for engineering tasks

Review design proposals and code changes

Improve maintainability, testability, readability, usability, and extensibility of software solutions

Implement and promote software engineering best practices and agile methodologies

Your talents:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline

Proven professional software engineering experience (~2 years)

Sound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, high-level programming languages (e.g. Java, Python or JavaScript), and DevOps technologies

Significant experience with major software development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) and agile methodologies

Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision

Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities

Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges in a fast-moving environment

Good interpersonal skills and multicultural competence

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (working language)

Knowledge of SAP ERP, experience of the automotive industry, and project management experience are advantageous
