Now, we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to help us shape the future of data self-service and modeling across the DACH region.

Your Mission

As an Analytics Engineer at Biztory, you’ll sit at the intersection of data modeling, engineering, and client enablement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design intuitive and scalable data models that unlock insights through self-service analytics.


Whether you’re collaborating with clients to align on requirements or optimizing data pipelines, your work will directly influence how data is consumed across organizations.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement scalable data models Translate business requirements into data models that support self-service analytics Build and maintain reliable ETL pipelines and transform raw data into clean datasets Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure data is usable, trustworthy, and well-documented Contribute to CI/CD processes Support clients across the DACH region (travel expected) Stay up to date with best practices in data modeling, governance, and future-facing tech like AI

Requirements

What You Bring

3+ years of relevant experience in data or analytics engineering Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) Experience with data modeling methodologies – bonus if you know Data Vault Hands-on experience with dbt (or similar tools) Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable interfacing with both technical and business stakeholders Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus Based in DACH, preferably around Düsseldorf, Cologne, or Berlin, and ready to travel

Nice to Have

Prior consulting experience Exposure to AI/ML tools and use cases Interest in team leadership or mentoring
