A Snapshot of Your Day

As the AI Strategy Lead, you'll play a key role in Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry (TI) Portfolio and Business Strategy team. You'll focus on developing and implementing our AI strategy, assessing current capabilities, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with technical and business teams on the AI roadmap.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Enhance TI’s AI capabilities by assessing, prioritizing, and nurturing organically emerging initiatives from TI’s Independently Managed Businesses (IMBs) to develop a comprehensive AI portfolio that aligns with TI’s strategic goals and creates significant business impact Drive adaption of innovative AI technologies like Agentic AI and AI robotics, customizing them to TI’s needs to integrate engineering and transactional workflows, accelerate short project cycles, and deliver efficient custom hardware and predictive software solutions for clients Partner with technical and business teams to prioritize and scale AI use cases across various organizational entities to enhance operational efficiency Promote a culture of experimentation and willingness to adopt new AI technologies, equipping teams with the knowledge and tools to scale solutions effectively Provide actionable insights that steer the ongoing development of TI’s AI strategy, reinforcing our leadership in digital transformation and client-focused innovation

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Business (ideally with technical specialization), or a related field (Master’s preferred) Long term experience in AI strategy, preferably in industrial or energy sectors as well as extensive familiarity with the AI technologies, including Agentic AI, and their application in optimizing workflows and solving industrial challenges Experienced in leading complex projects with interdisciplinary teams and shifting priorities in dynamic, fast-paced corporate or consulting environments, having displayed an outstanding proactive work ethic as well as flexibility and creativity in developing options to solve diverse business challenges Able to communicate efficiently with diverse technical and corporate partners, translate complex AI concepts, and deliver compelling presentations in English both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Strong willingness to travel for business purposes

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities
