In the Central Life Reserving (CLR) division, specifically working in the Operations and Analytics department of Global Oversight.


The Central Life Reserving Global Oversight team is responsible for the governance and reporting of Munich Re’s global Life and Health (LH) Reinsurance portfolio. CLR also manages all operations and reporting tools related to the centralized part of Group and Local IFRS17 reporting.

Your Job



Provide technical and actuarial support within a diverse team collaborating across geographies as well as central and local functions Support results analysis and preparing management presentations Automate, enhance and document end-to-end processes and controls needed to enable valuation closings, results analysis and management reporting under IFRS17 Proactively identify opportunities for improved efficiency, including the enhancement of existing reporting tools and development of new tools where necessary

Your Profile



Currently studying towards a University Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics. Nice to have strong software skills and technical proficiency with Excel/VBA, SQL, PowerBI, Python, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders Good analytical and conceptual skills, combined with ability to present complex matters in a simple way Highly organized and independent with strong time management skills
Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
