The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Account Director DACH, you will manage the daily relationship of multiple important clients, delivery of our service obligations and working with main teams to enhance the customer experience. Strategic development of the account is a key goal; including retaining and extending our client contract, building a wide, deep network of client contacts, delivering the annual operating plan and identifying and delivering growth opportunities. You will also support the profitable growth of the client, the delivery of the plan and identification of new business opportunities.
You will:
Contribute to the commercial delivery of client plans – being responsible for main accounts in Germany
Contribute to the creation of and delivery of client P&L and identify and deliver new business opportunities to promote incremental value
Develop sustainable and profitable long-term relationships with clients, ensuring engagement with strategic direction and daily management of our client account
Support service delivery and ensuring that main Service level agreement and Goals are delivered
Maintain oversight of the contracted service to the client, quickly identifying issues which may arise with customer experience through analysis of customer feedback, root cause analysis of complaints and deliver an action plan to improve and remove points of friction
Work with the executive team of Assurant Germany and Assurant Europe to develop growth strategies for new revenue and competitive opportunities
Partner with product and marketing teams to develop customer strategies, plans to attract new business, define creative offerings and grow existing accounts
Provide consumer, market, and competitor insights to wider leadership team to influence regional strategy
Develop the reputation of Assurant in the market as a strategic partner to its clients and a specialist in the insurance and trade-in market
25% travel within Germany for client and team meetings
You Will Have:
Proficient in German to a native level with fluency in English
Degree in business, finance, marketing, general management, or equivalent experience
Experience winning new business, on-boarding new business, and managing the ongoing P&L of client programs
Experience as a key account manager, account executive or other relevant role
Experience in insurance, finance, technology or another relevant sector
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills and executive presence
Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, client management skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Experience sales or marketing and managing relationships with essential clients
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
