Siemens Gamesa Site Assessment in Hamburg is looking for student assistant to support the team with a focus on the German market. Your tasks will include:
How You'll Make an Impact
Wind analysis of German onshore wind projects
Review of site suitability reports
Performing energy yield, noise and shadow calculations in WindPRO
Learning and acquiring relevant theory, techniques, methods, tools and processes, in the respective area
Supporting other qualified staff in their tasks and responsibilities
What You Bring
Ongoing master studies, preferably in the beginning, at a technical university
Basic knowledge of wind turbine functionality and aerodynamics
Solid understanding of natural sciences such as mathematics, physics and mechanics/statics
Confident use of electronic data processing and MS Office, especially Excel
Basic knowledge of geography (coordinate systems, cartography)
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit
Fluency in English and German
