As

Working Student Risk & Controls (m/f/d)

you will have the opportunity to work with the many teams making up the SCAYLE Payments organization on topics such as Process Management, Controls Management, and Risk Management. You will be supporting the Risk & Controls team in strengthening the overall Internal Control System (ICS) at SCAYLE Payments by supporting the teams in strengthening their processes, assessing their respective risks, and supporting them in addressing these risks via controls management.

Responsibilities

Conduct process walkthroughs and documentation Conduct risk assessments, document control activities, and propose improvements Monitor implementation of corrective actions and support process optimisation Support risk identification Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., MaRisk), maintain documentation, and contribute to strategy updates Support in the preparation for internal, external, and regulatory audits Support in the enablement of stakeholders on matters process and controls management Conduct control testing exercises to test their operating effectiveness Support in risk and controls reporting

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering related degree program Strong analytical and documentation skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong English skills, both written and spoken, German is a plus Understanding of corporate and regulatory risk frameworks (e.g., MaRisk) is beneficial Nice-to-have: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance, in particular FINTECH and IT, as well as good knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as ISO, ZAIT, DORA, MARisk-ZAG
