This position is part of Novanta’s Advanced Surgery business unit. Specialized in the field of Minimally Invasive Medicine, WOM develops devices and accessories so that doctors can operate with small cuts. We produce Cameras, Insufflators, Medical Pumps, and tubing that makes diagnosis and treatment easier for everyone. Our insufflators and pump systems dilate cavities in the body and turn previously complicated surgeries into minor procedures. Together with customers, doctors, and technical experts, our teams continuously search for new ways to innovate.
Job Summary
Execution and evaluation of quality and functional tests of insufflation and pump hoses (transport tests, functional tests, tensile strength tests, shelf life tests, air bubble leak test etc.) including documentation in English language
Primary ResponsibilitiesExecution and evaluation of design verification tests in project FM305 including documentation in English language Support of the System Verification Department in daily work especially in the FM305 project Execution and evaluation of quality and functional tests of insufflation and pump tube sets (transportation safety testing, functional test, tensile strength tests, shelf life tests, air bubble leak test etc.) including documentation in English language.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and CompetenciesBachelor or Master student of Engineering or natural science Good technical understanding Logical and analytical work Knowledge in the documentation of scientific results Very good knowledge of English Quality conscious, trustworthy and reliable Structured and systematic way of working Team player Communicative skills
