Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Responsibilities:

You take our product data to the next level, both in terms of accuracy and completeness

You will work closely with various departments from engineering to marketing and combine the different pieces of the puzzle in an effective and appealing way

In the end, our customers need a near-perfect online catalogue that is easy to navigate and up to date with our latest product innovations

At the same time, our distributors need a corresponding product data set in order to be able to add the products to their eCommerce systems

Qualification:

You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in the field of business administration or a comparable degree programme

You work carefully and in a structured manner, even if several projects are running in parallel

You have good organisational, communication and planning skills

You have a good eye for detail

You have very good German and English skills (written and oral)

You can work 20 h/week during the semester and up to 40 h/week during the semester break
