Working student (m/f/d) Simpack Tech Writer

User Assistance

to join our team.

The SIMULIA Motion User Assistance Development team is responsible for providing high quality technical documentation for our standalone tool Simpack as well as motion apps embedded in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The software documentation covers description of the software capabilities, detailed technical information on functionalities as well as tutorials and workflow descriptions in the area of multi body system engineering.

Based on technical specifications on new software enhancements the team creates documentation content in order to help any software user understand the functionality and how to use our tools in an optimal way.

Role Description & Responsibilities

You will work on enhancing the Simpack documentation as a member of the SIMULIA motion user assistance team:

Enhance existing documentation with missing information, e.g. for enhanced software functionality. Create documentation for new software features Correct existing documentation based on reported issues from our technical sales team or user feedback Create new and enhance existing Simpack tutorial and example models Write documentation in html editing tools and organize your work in our tools Jira and Git Collaborate with the other technical writers, product managers and developers on creating and shaping high quality user assistance

Qualifications

You are currently studying Mechanical Engineering, (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Technical Communication or any similar technical course of study You have basic knowledge of multi-body system (MBS) simulation, structural (FEA) simulation or any other CAE area You have experience in using commercial CAE tools (Simpack, Abaqus, Ansys,�) and ideally development tools like Jira and Git You are fluent in English You have very good communication skills and enjoy explaining complex topics in written form and in a comprehensive manner
