You’ll be part of a high-impact Finance team that partners across the business-covering everything from accounting and compliance to reporting, automation, and strategic finance. As we scale, we’re looking for a motivated working student to support our day-to-day finance operations and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a unique opportunity to learn how modern finance works in a tech-driven company, contribute to meaningful processes, and grow alongside an experienced team.

What you’ll do:

Learn hands-on accounting (HGB) in a fast, dynamic environment. Help build and improve the finance & accounting function from the inside. Get end-to-end exposure to many processes (close, tax, AP/AR, revenue) and see your impact on day one. Support monthly & year-end close under HGB (JEs, reconciliations) and assist with financial statements. Help run AP/AR and basic payroll tasks. Assist with VAT returns and other German tax filings. Support SaaS revenue recognition and related reconciliations. Prep documents and coordinate with tax advisors & auditors. Drive process/automation improvements.

Who you are:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Ideally with first practical experience in accounting or finance through internships, student jobs, or university projects. Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); exposure to IFRS or US GAAP is a big advantage. Interest in German tax regulations (e.g., VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax). Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Interest in tech-savvy finance processes, such as automated billing platforms (e.g., Stripe) or subscription business models. Effective communication skills in German and English.
