Overview

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Working Student:

HR Operations & Projects (m/f/d) to join our HR team in Berlin. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment coordination, employee experience, and HR projects, supporting a wide range of tasks in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Working Student provides essential administrative, coordination, and project support to the HR team. This role contributes to the efficient functioning of HR by supporting people operations, recruitment coordination, documentation, data integrity, employee experience activities, and ongoing HR transformation initiatives.

The position is designed as a learning role, giving exposure to modern HR processes while maintaining clear boundaries: the student supports operational tasks but does not make HR decisions.

Your Responsibilities:

Supporting recruitment processes:

posting job ads, maintaining candidate pipelines, scheduling interviews, corresponding with applicants, preparing interview materials, and assisting with interview feedback.

Assisting in HR administration:

maintaining employee records, updating HR trackers, preparing standard letters, supporting onboarding/offboarding checklists, and assisting with SAP data entry (supervised).

Supporting HR initiatives and projects:

contributing to global HR projects, process documentation, SharePoint updates, HRIS data preparation, research tasks, and presentations.

Helping employees with onboarding/offboarding logistics, IT/equipment coordination, and ensuring a smooth employee experience.

Supporting employee experience and office activities:

assisting with small events, office logistics, and internal communications.

Your Profile:

Enrolled student in a relevant field of study (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or similar).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.

Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.

Confident in approaching people and communicating clearly.

Discreet in handling confidential information.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Availability to work at the office at least 3 days per week.

What We Offer:

Hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, and global HR projects.

Opportunity to work closely with a friendly, multicultural team.

Insights into modern HR processes and employee lifecycle management.

Flexible working hours:

up to 20 hours per week during the semester, additional hours possible during semester breaks.

A modern office in vibrant Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, bars, and other offices.

If you are interested in this role, please send your cover letter, CV, and relevant certificates. We look forward to hearing from you!
