Your tasks

Participate in designing and executing operating system tests using PyTest and Shell
Assist in developing and maintaining features for our in-house Yocto-based Linux distribution
Support the implementation of system functionalities and optimizations
Assist in managing and improving the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab-CI and Kubernetes
Help optimize and maintain the build pipeline for large C++ codebases
Ensure the reliability and efficiency of build and deployment processes, including nightly builds and merge request pipelines
Present technical solutions and advancements in areas like C++ Build, GitLab-CI, and Kubernetes to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, including Linux debugging and infrastructure problems
Support cross-platform software development initiatives using platform-independent C++, system-oriented C programming, Yocto SDKs, CMake, Conan, and containers

Your qualifications
-----------------------
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Good understanding of Linux and basic understanding of Windows
Proficiency in Python programming language
Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
Familiarity with a scripting language (e.g. Bash or Powershell) is a plus
Interest in learning about CI/CD tools, such as GitLab-CI
Willingness to learn about cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Interest in programming languages such as C and C++
Willingness to learn about build tools and package managers like CMake and Conan
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and improving technical skills
Ability to work independently, proactively find tasks, and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills toprogress regularly and address challenges
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English, German is a plus but not required
