Your job

Support the Data Engineering team with extracting data from various external and internal sources Conduct online research to identify, assess, and document different data sources Clean, transform, and prepare data using Excel and Python Build and maintain basic ETL pipelines Perform data mapping tasks and assist with research and quality assurance activities as needed

Your profile

Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Data Science, or related degree program at a university in Germany Basic knowledge of Python and SQL, with a strong motivation to deepen your skills Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Independent, reliable, and collaborative team player with excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills Available for 15–20 hours per week with flexible working hours; ideally based in Hamburg

Our Product Division is responsible for all of Statista’s platform products — from statistics and reports to consumer and industry insights. We create exclusive digital content using the world’s most reliable sources, our own primary data, and in-house AI-powered data tools.
