Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role



Infineon GIT GaN transistor is a unique device on the market, and it has the capability to be more than a conventional power switch which can further improve on conduction losses and reduce the physical size of the component.

In this role your primary responsibility is help develop a standardised test boards to evaluate Infineon GIT GaN transistor.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Study Field:

Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Physics or a similar technical subject

Experience

: Experience of PCB soldering and working in a laboratory required

Way of working

: Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a team

Skills

: SPICE simulation, PCB design, basic know-how in power electronics topologies (DC/DC, SMPS, Drives)

Language Skills:

Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus

Important information:

Working part-time

: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome

: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.

You should live close to the site

: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
