Smith+Nephew's Commercial Center of Excellence (CoE) team is a key driver of sustainable and profitable growth across all Business Units in the International Region (i.e. established markets in Europe and Asia/Pacific). The team leads customer relationships with strategic accounts such as large hospital networks and group purchasing organizations, as well as the development and implementation of pricing frameworks and the centralized management of offers, tenders and contracts across Business Units.
In this role, you will support our Regional EMEA Pricing team and collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple countries. Your main focus is on analysing, structuring, and maintaining our regional pricing data landscape.
What will you be doing?
Conducting analytical evaluations of existing price conditions, revenue developments, and regional pricing trends
Enhancing and ensuring the quality of the regional contract and pricing monitoring as well as New Product Introduction (NPI) pricing monitoring
Supporting the review and analysis of price compliance, in close alignment with local stakeholders
Contributing to the development and maintenance of a data governance framework (e.g., naming conventions, data validation, hierarchy rules)
What will you need to be successful?
Enrolment in a university program (e.g., Business Administration, Business Informatics, Health Economics, Health Management) for at least 12 more months
Relevant experience from previous internships / working student positions in a similar field
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and work with complex data structures
Interest in pricing, commercial processes, or sales operations at a regional level
Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, basic data modelling)
A proactive, structured, and independent working style
Strong team spirit and the ability to build relationships across departments and markets to gather information and alignment
Good

Preferred qualifications:
Initial experience with SAP or any other ERP system
Experience in Pricing, Price Strategy, or Revenue Management
First experience working with larger datasets or reporting tools
