To strengthen our Department of Water and Sanitation Engineering in the Middle East, we are seeking an engineer (f/m/d) with experience in the design and implementation of water and wastewater (W&WW) infrastructure, with additional experience in the management of companies/organizations providing the service.

Main Duties in this Position Include

Coordination and monitoring of project implementation (backstopping) Financial & contract management Quality control Preparation of tenders and proposals Participation in project implementation, in line with your experience

Experience / Profile Required

Academic qualification (MSc. or equivalent) in Civil, Sanitary, or Environmental Engineering Five (5) years of work experience in water and sanitation projects Fluent language skills (oral and written) in English and Arabic

Ideally, candidates will have experience in the following areas:

Experience in the implementation of projects financed by development banks Experience in the design, tendering and/or supervision of works of water supply or sewerage networks, water treatment, wastewater treatment plant, storm drainage or similar Experience in the management of water and wastewater (W&WW) services (reduction of non-revenue water, operation and maintenance of infrastructure, reuse of treated wastewater, etc.) Work experience in the Middle East Work experience in Germany
