THE ROLE:

You analyse, validate and consolidate commercial, operational and financial information in order to provide maximum visibility of the shipping line's activity to optimise decision-making for different departments within the Group.



WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?



On a day-to-day basis, you will assist the line manager in managing his/her business (setting up, monitoring and developing indicators specific to each line + studies). As such, you will be responsible for producing the line's forecast and actual results, and for the budget. You participate in the gap analysis between accounting and estimated costs in order to identify any operational problems and monitor standards. You alert the manager to any deviations affecting the line's accounts. You carry out studies and propose corrective measures to optimize the line's performance. You present summary financial information to the management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?



In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals will be eligible for this VIE program. You have a Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business administration, from a university, business or engineering school. You have a 1st experience in business controlling, ideally acquired within a large international group. You have a good command of IT and office automation tools, including Excel, Access and SQL queries. Your analytical and organizational skills, combined with your open-mindedness and good interpersonal skills, will be key to your success in this position. You have good command of English.
