What do you contribute?



You will be responsible for global procurement and logistics in our Rail Infrastructure business unit with a purchasing volume exceeding 1.5bn €. Managing approx. 150 employees, you will report directly to our Chief Procurement Officer. You will further develop the procurement & logistics strategy for your business units and drive its implementation. Acting as a role model, you will proactively lead the transformation of organization, especially with regards to digitalization, value chain orchestration, and diversity. You will optimize the supply chain of Rail Infrastructure to minimize costs, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency through process improvements. In addition, you will ensure optimal logistics (inbound and outbound) and quality performance of the suppliers. You will further develop the supplier pool and identify new procurement sources worldwide. Furthermore, you will identify procurement risks and take measures to safeguard our supply chain.

What do you bring along?



You hold a Master’s degree in a business or engineering discipline. Additionally, you have longtime management experience in procurement, ideally in a project driven environment. Moreover, you appreciate to leave your comfort zone, try new things, and push boundaries. You love to work in intercultural teams and to understand the special requirements of a matrix organization. For your global task, you have business fluent English skills. German language skills are an advantage.
