Farmie is a Berlin-based vertical farming company providing plug-and-play hydroponic modules for hotels, restaurants, offices, and retailers. Our systems allow businesses to grow fresh, healthy plants directly on site — pesticide-free, sustainable, and independent from external supply chains.



We are looking for a reliable team member to support our farming operations and help keep our vertical farms running smoothly. The role combines hands-on plant care with light technical tasks.



Aufgaben



Take care of plants: seedling production, monitoring growth, harvesting, and general upkeep. Support with installations and farm setups for new clients. Perform routine checks and simple maintenance on farm hardware. Troubleshoot smaller technical issues and coordinate with the team for bigger ones. Assist in improving workflows and giving feedback from daily operations.

Qualifikation



Interest in plants; first experience in agriculture, horticulture, or related studies (agricultural sciences, plant biology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, or engineering). Practical, hands-on, and comfortable with light technical tasks. Fit for physical work (e.g. lifting harvest boxes, setting up modules). Organized, reliable, independent. English required; German a plus. Suitable for students in relevant fields.
