The Hope Foundation, a Cameroonian-German non-profit organization, is working in education, sport and health.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs for students in Berlin. Collaborate with team members to create engaging and interactive learning materials. Support the coordination of project. Contribute to the promotion of cross-cultural understanding and communication. Participate in meetings to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

Project Title:

Bridging Cultures- Global South Voices driving change

About the project:

In this project, trainers from Global South will teach in English, engaging learners in discussions develop solutions for the challenges their continents and countries face.

Additionally, learners will brainstorm innovative ideas for projects and events to raise awareness in Germany.

The trainer is responsible for planning and organizing a minimum of five workshops (one- or two-day sessions) tailored for students aged 16-20. Additionally, there are two supplementary events: 'Spoons4Change,' a cooking workshop, and another event with a concept yet to be finalized, such as a film evening. Other duties encompass public relations efforts, workshop evaluations, and the development of teaching materials.

This year, all workshops and programmes across the participating schools will focus on the overarching theme of Gender Equality and Gender Equity.
Trainers are invited to design and lead workshops that explore one of the following focus areas within this thematic framework:

Tourism Global Partnerships Indigenous Cultures

Target group of the project:

Learners between 16 and 20 years old from secondary schools in Berlin Adults, open public in Berlin (Spoons4Change)

Working hours:

20 hours per week

Compensation:

1200€ / month (total 3600€)
