Role Overview



The Trade Marketing Specialist – Europe will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies across multiple European markets. This role ensures strong brand visibility at the point of sale, drives portfolio activation, and secures flawless execution of campaigns and new product introductions (NPIs). The position requires close collaboration with sales, distributors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, impactful results aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities



1. Strategy & Visibility Opportunities



Identify and leverage visibility opportunities across points of sale (POS) to maximize brand presence. Define and activate the product portfolio through tailored trade marketing initiatives.

2. Execution at Point of Sale (POS)



Develop, coordinate, and supervise the production of all visibility materials for POS. Ensure correct implementation across different channels and markets. Manage activations and consumer engagement activities in collaboration with partners.

3. Project Management



Coordinate the launch of NPIs across European markets. Work with creative and production agencies to adapt materials for each market. Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on schedule.

4. Sales & Distributor Alignment



Prepare trade support materials, sales toolkits, and POS visibility guidelines. Coordinate with local distributors to implement campaigns and NPIs effectively.

5. Budget Management



Monitor, track, and report trade marketing budgets against planned investments. Oversee budget registration and ensure compliance with financial processes.

6. Insights & Reporting



Monitor and report trade marketing KPIs, including visibility performance and campaign effectiveness.

7. People & Leadership



Lead and coordinate the trade marketing team and external partners/agencies. Provide guidance and support to sales teams for campaign implementation. Foster alignment across markets by sharing best practices and ensuring consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements



Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 6–8 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG or tobacco industries. Proven experience managing multi-country projects and distributors. Strong knowledge of POS visibility, activations, and portfolio management. Excellent project management and budget control skills. Fluent in English (German is a plus). Based in Munich with availability to travel across Europe.

Pay: 65.000,00€ - 80.000,00€ per year
