You'll make an impact by

You will start by analyzing the current state of technology and scientific methods for automated report generation, specifically focusing on Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) Next, you will conduct a thorough requirements analysis in close collaboration with stakeholders and potential users to ensure the application meets their needs Subsequently, you will design the app architecture, including data modeling, interface design, and document structure to support the automated creation of EPDs You will then implement the solution in a low-code environment such as Mendix, applying your software development skills Finally, you will conduct and evaluate practical tests using real product and EPD data to validate the effectiveness of the application and make necessary adjustments

Education

: You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Sustainability Management with an IT focus, or a related field

Experience and Skills

: + You have a strong interest in sustainability topics and ecological assessment approaches
+ You possess initial experience in software development, particularly with low-code platforms such as Mendix or PowerApps
+ You have knowledge in data modeling and interface design, including APIs

Ways of Working

: You demonstrate an analytical and structured approach to work, with the ability to work independently and responsibly

Languages

: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential
