As a technician for car electronics, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our Hilti tracking and gateway devices on heavy equipment vehicles such as trucks, excavators, road loaders, tractors, and cranes. You will also provide customer service and technical support to clients on site.

Install, test, and troubleshoot Hilti gateway and tracking devices and systems on heavy equipment vehicles, such as trucks, excavators, road loaders, tractors, and cranes.
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on electronic devices and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or defects in electronic devices and systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
Provide customer service and technical support to clients on site, explaining the functions and features of electronic devices and systems, answering questions, and resolving issues.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Extend our knowledge database with installation instructions and documentation.
Provide feedback to colleagues in development about required product improvements and issues reported by customers on site.
Follow company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations regarding car electronics installation and repair.

What you need is:

• Certificate or diploma in car electronics, automotive technology, or related field
• At least two years of experience as a car electronics technician or similar role
• Knowledge of car electronics installation and repair techniques, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability and willingness to travel to different locations and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and German
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record for customer visits
