To strengthen our team at the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Technical Superintendent (m/f/d).

Your tasks and responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the technical management and operation of assigned vessels Regular on-board visits to monitor ship operations, technical performance, safety standards, and vessel condition Planning, tendering, coordination, and supervision of repairs, maintenance, and shipyard periods Budget planning, cost control, and expenditure reporting for assigned vessel Liaison with classification societies, flag state administrations, and regulatory authorities Ensuring implementation and compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g. ISM, UVV, MARPOL, SOLAS) Technical support and advisory to senior vessel staff, including preparation of appraisal reports

Your profile

Degree in Marine or Ship Engineering, or equivalent qualification Seagoing experience in a responsible position as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer or relevant shore-based experience in technical ship management Basic business administration knowledge (e.g. budgeting, reporting) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for technical issues Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; German skills are an advantage Sound knowledge of ISM systems and maritime regulations High level of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
