Key responsibilties

Technical management, planning and execution of customer application projects for our High Performance Brakes and Brake Pads Identification of new business opportunities with potential customers for Akebono’s future growth Technical evaluation and feasibility studies of customer requirements and targets Definition of technical project scope, performance goals and deliverables Define, track and manage the development plan with specific tasks, resources and deliverables Monitor and report development status and progress based on standardized performance indicators including technical performance, product cost and development cost Coordinate development internal project staff, provide direction and present technical escalation subjects when necessary Managing the application development from business hunting through development until PPAP release, and support any technical issues until project closure Main contact for our customers and close collaboration with suppliers
Required skills

Proven, multi-year experience (> 5 years) in the technical project management of hydraulic brakes, electric parking brakes and brake pads. Successful completion of Bachelor or Master Studies of Mechanical Engineering Strong teamwork combined with management, organizational, analytical and communication skills Structured, independent working flexibility and ability to motivate Commercial awareness Very good communication skills in German and English both verbally and written
