Technical Managing Director (gn) – Part-Time

AMAP stands for Advanced Metals and Processes and is an open-innovation research cluster atRWTH Aachen. Our focus is on developing innovative technologies and processes for aluminumand other non-ferrous metals. We are seeking a candidate who will convincingly represent our cluster, work toward AMAP’s goals, and drive its further development. Collaboration takes place with industry partners and RWTH institutes within the AMAP cluster. As a member of the cluster leadership team, you will work closely with the AMAP Advisory Board.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic and operational management of the research cluster in cooperation with the commercial managing director Identification of new research topics Organization of technical lectures, workshops, and similar events Support in initiating and implementing pre-competitive R&D projects in the aluminum sector Expansion of the network of industry partners and research institutions Ensuring a professional social media presence

Your Profile:

Degree in a technical or scientific field Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment Proven experience in building and maintaining industry networks Strong communication and facilitation skills Excellent command of English and German
