Overview


As a

Tech Lead

, you’ll take ownership of the applications and services behind Radancy’s Programmatic Ad Tech offering. You’ll guide architecture, ensure reliability, and help the platform scale and evolve. Along the way, you’ll stay hands-on in the code, mentor talented engineers, and shape the technical direction of your team.

About the Role


We’re looking for a

Tech Lead

to join our Programmatic Ad Tech program. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, ensuring our services are scalable, reliable and impactful. You’ll shape architecture, guide delivery, mentor engineers and stay actively involved in coding.


You are accountable for the

technical direction and delivery

of the services your team owns. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering peers, balance leadership with active coding and create an environment where engineers can grow and perform at their best.



What You’ll Do

Design and lead

the architecture and implementation of programmatic ad tech services.

Write and review production code

to set quality standards for the team.

Define and uphold

engineering best practices and standards.

Collaborate closely

with Product and Engineering peers to deliver meaningful solutions.

Champion quality

by ensuring performance, reliability, and security through reviews and CI/CD.

Explore new technologies

and bring forward ideas to strengthen our stack.

Take ownership end-to-end

— from architecture and incidents to monitoring and infrastructure.

Coach and mentor

teammates, supporting onboarding and professional growth.


What You Bring

3–5+ years of software engineering experience

, with strong Rust expertise. Solid knowledge of

PostgreSQL

and

TypeScript

(a big plus). Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like

AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform

. Proven track record of leading projects or guiding teams. Comfort with

Agile practices

and continuous planning. Strong communication and collaboration skills. A passion for

mentoring and enabling others

.

Architecture & Service Quality

Shape services so they align with company-wide architecture and tech strategy. Champion engineering excellence with thorough testing, CI/CD, and peer reviews. Lead the team with confidence during incidents and change requests.


Team Development

Hold

regular 1:1s with your team members and share constructive feedback.

Ensure

the team has the resources and knowledge to succeed.

Provide

effective onboarding for new engineers.


Security & Compliance

Build security into every stage of development and hosting. Keep compliance documentation clear, current, and easy to use. Stay ahead of risks by spotting and resolving issues before they grow.


Operations and Infrastructure

Own AWS-hosted services and ensure they run smoothly at scale. Monitor reliability against SLOs and jump on issues quickly. Evolve infrastructure so it stays modern, efficient, and aligned with standards.


Documentation

Maintain clear and accurate documentation for design, architecture and operations. Keep team documentation current and accessible.
