About the Role

As a Forward-Deployed Agentic Engineer focused on Solution Architecture, you are the technical visionary and lead designer for our most strategic customer engagements. You will embed directly with enterprise clients, translating their complex business challenges into robust, scalable agentic automation solutions on the Otera platform. You own the "how" of the technical implementation, guiding dedicated delivery squads and ensuring architectural integrity, performance, and long-term maintainability. This role demands deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and exceptional communication skills to align both customer and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Design:

Lead the end-to-end technical design and architecture of complex agentic workflows for key enterprise customers, leveraging the full capabilities of the Otera platform.

Technical Leadership:

Guide and mentor dedicated implementation squads, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with customers and internal Business Leads to define technical roadmaps, scope projects, and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Technical Advisory:

Serve as the trusted technical expert for customer engineering teams, providing deep insights, recommendations, and hands-on support.

Product Feedback:

Capture critical technical requirements and feedback from the field to directly influence Otera's product roadmap, working closely with the VP of Product & Engineering.

Pre-Sales Support:

Partner with our CRO and VP Global Sales to articulate Otera's technical value proposition, design proof-of-concepts, and win strategic deals.

About You

A Seasoned Architect:

8+ years of hands-on software engineering and architecture experience, preferably in a SaaS environment or consulting role. You have a proven track record of designing and delivering complex enterprise-grade solutions.

Deep Technical Acumen:

Expert proficiency in Python and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, data modeling, and secure system design.

Problem Solver:

You excel at breaking down ambiguous, complex problems into clear, actionable technical plans.

Exceptional Communicator:

You can articulate intricate technical concepts clearly to both highly technical engineers and non-technical business leaders. You are a compelling presenter and a skilled negotiator.

Leadership Presence:

You naturally earn respect and can lead technical discussions, make tough decisions, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Bonus Points:

Experience with LLMs, machine learning, data engineering, or complex automation platforms.
