Key Responsibilities:
In the role as a Team Lead:
Lead and mentor a team of category managers within the Consumer Electronics segment, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous growth
Monitor category performance in partnership with your team, defining and implementing actions to optimize results
Design, implement, and standardize processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
Act as a sparring partner for your team on strategic topics, market challenges, and high-impact business opportunities
Drive and manage cross-departmental projects aimed at improving category performance and customer experience
Develop your team’s capabilities through structured coaching, skill-building initiatives, and goal alignment
In the role as a Category Manager:
Manage a CE category independently, overseeing its commercial strategy and daily operations
Analyze sales, pricing, and purchasing performance to identify growth and profitability opportunities
Define and optimize product assortments based on customer segments, performance data, and competitor activity
Set and adjust pricing and purchasing strategies to meet revenue, margin, and stock targets
Collaborate with Marketing on sales campaigns, promotions, and paid marketing initiatives
Support B2B purchasing negotiations and deal execution to secure optimal terms and inventory mix
Stay up to date with market trends, ensuring rebuy remains competitive and aligned with customer needs
At least
8 years of professional experience
in category management, business consulting, finance, analytics, or pricing — preferably in
e-commerce or marketplace environments
1–2 years of leadership experience
, with proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with confidence in handling data and drawing actionable insights
Solid understanding of key
P&L drivers
in an e-commerce setting
Proven
project management
experience, including cross-functional collaboration and process optimization
Excellent
communication and presentation
skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
High commercial acumen, structured approach, and reliability — even under pressure
Fluent in
English
; German or another European language is a plus

Experience with
