As the leader of the Advanced Component Development team, you will ensure that product development remains innovative, efficient, and aligned with customer needs. The engineering departments of the transformer factories serve as the primary customers for these development activities.
You’ll be accountable for achieving business objectives, including managing budgets, meeting quality and performance standards, and adhering to schedules. Your responsibilities range from handling daily support requests to assisting with the planning of long-term, multi-year product development projects. By demonstrating your strong leadership abilities, you will guide your team to work cohesively and achieve high performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead a global team in a research and development environment
Adhere to the agile operating model (SAFe)
Overall coordination of product development projects including planning and reporting
Implement best practices, process improvements and quality standards to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with global sites to standardize processes and share guidelinesa
Act as a reliable partner for the engineering departments of the transformer factories
Drive key innovation projects and look for new fields of innovation
Make product safety and zero-harm culture your top priority
What You Bring
Education in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or in a comparable area
Several years of experience in engineering or project management
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in a global environment
Proven track record of successful leadership role, preferably within a global organization
Professional experience in international project management preferable
Willingness to work in & foster an agile development culture and excellent communication skills in English (fluent) and German (fluent)
Ability to think strategically, drive innovation, and execute plans effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the flexibility to adapt quickly to new needs
Ability to travel as needed
