Your duties

Maintain positive relationship with students/colleagues/parents Assist individuals or small groups of students with specific tasks, e.g. reading, writing, art projects Maintain expectations of student behaviour in and out of the classroom to create a well-functioning, positive learning atmosphere in the school Assist with supervision of students while in and out of class Assist the teacher with the creation and preparation of materials and in creating an attractive and effective learning environment Complete school related errands and administrative duties Organise and care for classroom materials Assist with organisation of class field trips Carry out supervision duties at lunch and recess as assigned on duty roster Escort students to single subject lessons and to the school buses Contribute to the wider school community through active involvement in after-school activities, fieldtrips, overnight trips, etc. Maintain professional competence by pursuing professional development opportunities, by taking part in in-services and by engaging in the BIS performance review process Model the values and professional demeanour as expressed in the BIS

Your profile

Qualification as Teacher Assistant German language skills are desirable Fluent in written and spoken English
