The
Tax Manager (f/m/d)
ensures full compliance with tax regulations while driving effective tax planning and optimization across the group. Acting as a trusted partner to subsidiaries, advisors, and leadership, it delivers accurate reporting, strategic guidance, and robust transfer pricing. By anticipating regulatory changes and implementing practical compliance tools, the mission is to protect the company’s integrity, support business goals, and create long-term value.
What your day will look like

Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns with the support of external tax advisors
You prepare tax reconciliations and calculate deferred taxes
Collaborate to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies
You are responsible for transfer pricing and the documentation for the group
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance
You are responsible for the implementation of necessary tax compliance tools
Provide guidance on tax-efficient structures and transactions to optimize financial positions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and executive leadership, to address tax-related matters and ensure alignment with overall business goals
You are the contact person for all subsidiaries (in the context of transfer pricing, companywide projects with tax implications, tax planning). Provide guidance and mentorship
Qualified contact person for auditors, tax advisors
What you need to fulfill the role

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
At least 5 years of experience as a Tax Specialist, with a focus on German tax regulations, or in the area of finance with a focus on taxes
In-depth knowledge of German tax laws, including VAT, corporate income tax, and individual income tax
Good knowledge in accounting according to HGB
Proven experience in tax planning and advisory services
Profound knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
