In this role, you will be a key member of the cellular system engineering team working on low-power, high-performance cellular modem SoC architecture.




Description





You will take part in the pioneering work of validating and enhancing new SoC concepts for cellular modems which enable innovative features, lead to efficient system design for high-performance, low-power cellular SoCs.




Responsibilities



Contribute to modem modeling. Define test case configurations which push the system at the limits. Simulate these test cases, analyze the system behavior, extract the critical performance indicators. Propose concept enhancements based on the detailed understanding of the system behavior. Correlate the models with the HW RTL based simulations and also with the live HW. Collaborate closely with Architecture, System Engineering, HW Design and Verification, FW and SW Development. Employ AI tools to increase efficiency of engineering work where vital.





Minimum Qualifications



Track record in the area of wireless communications. Proven years of work experience with detailed exposure to HW, assembly, 3G protocol stack, real time scheduling. In-depth knowledge of embedded systems HW, parallelism, coherency, real time scheduling. Knowledge of current cellular communication standards: 5G (NR) and 4G (LTE). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (architecture evaluation, feasibility analysis, modeling and simulation, system dynamic analysis, debugging). Programming expertise required: C++ mandatory, Python preferable. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong collaboration capabilities and teamwork. English language skills are required.


Preferred Qualifications



M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with proven years of working experience. Candidates with more experience will be considered for suitably senior positions.
