Join Berata’s automotive division to ensure quality for semiconductor components in vehicle systems!



Tasks



Oversee all supplier-related activities for semiconductor components (e.g., controllers, diodes) across development, SOP, and series production. Lead risk assessment, mitigation, and supplier development programs for semiconductor suppliers, ensuring technical maturity and quality. Conduct VDA 6.3 audits and manage process approvals to maintain supplier compliance and quality assurance. Perform root cause analysis, resolve complex supplier issues, and implement sustainable corrective measures. Review and approve APQP/PPAP documentation and support Safe Launch for critical product launches. Collaborate with design and hardware teams to integrate quality and technology-specific requirements for electronic and mechatronic components. Monitor supplier performance metrics and technical trends in the semiconductor sector to drive continuous improvement and strategic recommendations. Engage with supplier leadership to secure executive support and facilitate OEM communication for quality and reliability outcomes.

Requirements



Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in supplier development, quality engineering, or semiconductor manufacturing. Strong knowledge of semiconductor component technologies and supply chain processes. Proven ability to lead risk assessment and problem resolution with suppliers. Experience conducting supplier audits and managing Safe Launch programs. Excellent communication and leadership skills for engaging with supplier executives. Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus. * Willingness to relocate to Munich North and travel internationally as needed.
