About the role
------------------
As Supplier Account Management Lead,
you will own the operational performance and commercial growth of suppliers on the Saltz Marketplace
. This is a semi-operational role combining hands-on supplier coordination with leadership responsibility for a small team, while building systems that improve supplier reliability, performance, and GMV expansion.
You will play a key role in ensuring suppliers perform at a high operational standard while unlocking growth through structured collaboration and co-promotion.
What you will do:

Manage and grow relationships with key suppliers on the marketplace
Ensure smooth order fulfilment and operational excellence across your supplier portfolio
Own demand forecasting and demand prediction logic in collaboration with Sales
Monitor and improve supplier performance (availability, refunds, service quality, fulfilment reliability)
Build systems and processes for supplier performance tracking and optimisation
Lead and coordinate a small account managers team (1–2 people)
Drive supplier GMV expansion through structured initiatives and co-promotion campaigns
Identify underperformance risks and implement corrective action plans
What you need:

Experience in account management, operations, supply chain, or supplier management roles
Strong organisational and operational mindset
Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership
Analytical thinking and comfort working with performance metrics
Experience managing external partners or vendors
Process-driven and systems-oriented approach
SQL or strong data querying skills are a strong advantage
