As a Structured Products EME Advisory Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and support to the business units within the Markets division, focusing on matters arising in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria related to the products and services offered by the German and Swiss Structured Notes Teams. This role entails regular engagement with regulatory authorities, collaboration with external law firms, and close cooperation with front office colleagues, business managers, and legal and business teams across departments such as Treasury and Wealth. Additionally, you will support both automation and manual drafting teams and oversee programme updates.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
A qualified German lawyer with experience in a top-tier private practice, preferably with prior in-house experience at a leading financial institution, ideally within the Markets Division.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in Structured Products, particularly those sold indirectly to retail investors in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Excellent drafting skills of Structured Products documentation, including Base Prospectuses and Final Terms.
Fluency in German language is required.
