Structural Engineer (m/f/d)


Your Tasks


Development of structural concepts for satellites and payloads Responsibility for structural requirements definition Responsibility for the structural sizing and analysis, including engineering planning, coordination and conduction of structural analysis, structural modelling and assessment, documentation and communication of results Definition and support of structural verification tests, including test specification, test prediction, test conductance and test evaluation Technical support for the system engineering in the domain of structural engineering Technical support or management of subcontractors Technical management of a structural development team Documentation and reviews Support of process, tools and methods development and maintenance Temporary or permanent other reasonable, comparable activity, which corresponds the qualification and skills

Your Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with focus on Structural Engineering Profound knowledge of structural mechanics Knowledge of static, dynamic, acoustic and thermos-elastic analysis Basic knowledge of system engineering Knowledge and experience with structural analysis software, such as Hyperworks, NASTRAN or ANSYS Fluent in English reading and writing Strong sense of responsibility Organized, structured and target-oriented Team player with excellent communication skills Business travel willingness
