Power Technology Research (PTR) is a strategic growth advisory firm helping companies in the electrical infrastructure space with

market research, strategic advisory, and marketing services. We pride ourselves on providing customers with high-value intelligence and

advice to inform strategy and investment, while ensuring a highly transparent and flexible methodology in our analysis. We are a very

lean and fast-moving B2B company, investing and/or pivoting to capture market demand. The candidate will work with our clients in

Europe, spanning multiple geographies and industries, to support and grow their businesses.

Purpose of the Role:



The role focuses on driving revenue growth for PTR in Europe. It involves managing the entire sales process, starting with lead generation through outsourced partners, LinkedIn, and industry conferences, and continuing through to deal closure and account management. The goal is to align client needs with PTR’s research, advisory, and marketing services while building long-term relationships and strengthening the company’s presence in the European power sector.

Job Responsibilities:



Drive full sales cycle for market research, marketing, and advisory services across Europe - from lead generation (outsourcing on LinkedIn and conferences) to deal closure and account management. Manage key client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Identify and acquire new leads through conferences, cold outreach, and inbound inquiries. Coordinate project scope and delivery with research and marketing teams. Represent PTR at industry events to expand visibility and build relationships. Track sales pipeline and performance targets in HubSpot CRM. Support the Head of EMEA BU and the Executive Management team on the sales strategy, creating the required structure necessary for growth.

Qualification & Experience:



3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in research, consulting, or energy-related industries. Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or any relevant field. Proven experience in cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and closing deals Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize leads, and work independently toward revenue targets. Experience attending and representing the company at industry events and conferences. Strong command of CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) for pipeline tracking and sales management.

Reporting Line:



This position reports to the Head of the EMEA region.
