Decypher is seeking Standardization/Evaluation Analyst candidates to support the 480th Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. This position will be responsible for creating, updating, reviewing, and maintaining documents and flight evaluation folders (FEF), maintaining compliance with applicable AFIs, MAJCOM, and local guidance/supplements for AETC permanent, attached, and associate aircrew as well as students where applicable. The successful candidate will possess experience with scheduling software and working in a CAF squadron/group/wing. US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • \n
  • Maintain accountability and control of flight-testing materials. \n
  • Perform duties as the squadron Technical Order Distribution Account (TODA) manager per T.O. 00-5-1, and Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) library manager per AFIs.\n
  • Manage squadron hard and soft copy libraries of standardized reference materials, as dictated by AFI or local supplement. This can include AFIs, T.O.s, Air Force Tactics Techniques and Procedures Manuals, and Joint Publications. Maintain on-line accounts and distribution accounts with the various agencies required to sustain access to current library materials.\n
  • Manage the Technical Order (TO) library, flying related publications and checklists via the Technical Order Distribution Account (TODA) and Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) to ensure all TO, publications and checklist are current.\n
  • Ensure all Flight Information Publications (FLIP) are current and accessible to all aircrew.\n
  • Maintain Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and any additional Read File libraries (i.e. OGRF, SRF, SOFRF, etc.).\n
  • Ensure all Briefing Room and Mission Planning materials to include local area maps, Training Rule publications, check lists and Special Interest Items are current and serviceable. Develop standardized briefing room aids as directed by the Chief of Operations Group Stan/Eval (OGV) to ensure mission spaces comply with AFI requirements for posted information and available reference material.\n
  • Perform duties as receiving agent for hard copy delivery of Flight Information Publications (FLIP) and host nation FLIP equivalents.\n
  • Coordinate with training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 as well as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.\n
  • Notify crewmembers, scheduling office, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements.\n
  • Provide scheduling with a product showing who requires any form of check ride in the upcoming months and ensure the scheduling office schedules those rides appropriately. Ensure that when the check ride is not effective for weather, MX, etc. that the ride is then rescheduled in a timely manner to meet requirements. \n
  • Perform testing administrator duties/function for the unit. \n
  • Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering the first month of evaluation eligibility period.\n

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in the use/application of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint)\n

Desired Education and Experience

  • \n
  • Experience working in a CAF Squadron/Group/Wing office is highly desirable.\n
  • Experience working with scheduling program is highly desirable.\n
  • Experience working in a squadron-level or higher commanders, directors, and/or support staff is highly desirable.\n
