We are seeking a Sr. Technology Manager to drive the development of interconnect solutions for demanding industrial applications-including robotics, automation, and harsh environments. This role is both customer-facing and technically hands-on, requiring collaboration with marketing and sales teams, engineering teams, and OEM customers
What You Will Do
Solution Development
Work with internal engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to develop and validate application-specific solutions.
Provide technical input to define proof-of-concept designs, prototypes, and costed proposals.
Technical Expertise & Knowledge Sharing
Serve as a subject matter expert on industrial interconnect technologies, including power/signal separation, EMC shielding, IP sealing, and vibration resistance etc
Provide input into product strategy, whitepapers, and customer training programs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, focused on developing circular connectivity solutions for industrial applications
Who You Are

Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
20+ years of experience in
industrial connectors, cable assemblies, or embedded electromechanical systems
.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of
industrial networking standards
(e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.) and power/signal interconnect requirements.
Experience designing and specifying interconnect solutions for
harsh environments
(IP67+, temperature extremes, mechanical shock/vibration).
Soft Skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to
build trust and provide consultative value
.
Ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.
Fluent in German language, verbal and written
Fluent in English language
Other Requirements
Willingness to
travel
to customer sites and standards meetings in Europe (~25-35% travel).
Prior experience working with customers and on or with
standards bodies or working groups
is a strong plus.
