Introduction

Fab 1 CIM is a team of system/software engineers administrating the applications and systems that support our highly automated 300 mm Fab, working closely with software developers, testers, system admins, and end-users.


The team owns technical responsibility to install, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot software systems to ensure and improve 24x7 manufacturing application performance and availability in our complex cleanroom environment. As a business and technology enabler, the reliability of the factory systems infrastructure is essential to the productivity and financial metrics of our wafer fab operations.

Your Job

Operational support for the CIM applications in our Dresden factory systems environment Plan and install application changes on live systems and during scheduled maintenance windows Participate in system tests in our QA process Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions during incidents, incl. scheduled on-call duty Develop and maintain troubleshooting and training guides for support organizations Monitor and analyze systems and processes within factory environment and involved interfaces Check on performance aspects and impacts

Required Qualifications

This position is specifically aimed at New College Graduates.


Bachelor/Master or similar degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field Proven technical knowledge utilizing state-of-the-art software technologies and methods Ability to deal with complexity and to communicate at an abstract level at the same time Ability to capture and analyze business/production processes Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and German) Unix, Windows and OLTP database experience Basic IT Service Management skills (software change management, deployment and support documentation strategies and systems) Work independently with minimal oversight, especially troubleshooting skills in major incident situations

Preferred Qualifications

Practice administrating Linux systems and supporting JBoss environments Unix shell/PowerShell scripting, Java language know-how Experience with existing fab applications including MES (SiView, APF/RTD, SPC/FDC systems) General experience with transport layer products/technologies (MQ, CORBA, HTTP, SOAP) Good knowledge of SQL and XML technologies Ability to travel worldwide

Das Fab 1 CIM Team ist verantwortlich für den Betrieb der Applikationen und Systeme, die unsere hochautomatisierte 300 mm Fab unterstützen und arbeitet eng mit Software-Entwicklern, Testern, Systemadministratoren und Endnutzern zusammen.


Hauptaufgaben des Teams sind Installation, Betrieb, Monitoring und Troubleshooting von Software-Systemen zur Sicherstellung und Verbesserung der 24x7 Verfügbarkeit und Performance der Manufacturing Applikationen in unserer komplexen Reinraumumgebung. Als technologischer Wegbereiter ist die Zuverlässigkeit der Factory Systems-Infrastruktur ein kritischer Faktor für Produktivität und Finanzkennzahlen unserer Wafer-Produktion.

Stellenprofil

Operativer Betrieb der CIM-Anwendungen unserer Factory Systems-Umgebung in Dresden Planung und Installation von Software Changes auf Live-Systemen und während geplanter Wartungsfenster Unterstützung von System-Tests in unserem Software QA-Prozess Troubleshooting und Reparatur/Wiederherstellung bei Incidents, inkl. geplanter Bereitschaft Erstellen und Weiterentwickeln von Dokumentationen für Troubleshooting und Training für die Support-Organisationen Monitoring und Analyse von Systemen, Prozessen und Software-Schnittstellen Prüfung von Software-Performance und Auswirkungen

Erforderliche Qualifikationen

Diese Position richtet sich insbesondere an Berufseinsteiger*innen/New College Graduates.


Bachelor/Master oder ähnlicher Universitäts-/Fachhochschulabschluss in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathematik oder vergleichbarer technischer Abschluss Technisches Wissen über Nutzung von üblichen Software-Technologien und -Methoden Fähigkeit, mit Komplexität umzugehen und dabei gleichzeitig abstrakt zu kommunizieren Erfassen und Analysieren von Business-/Produktionsprozessen Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten (Englisch und Deutsch) Erfahrung in Unix, Windows und OLTP-Datenbanken IT Service Management Basis-Know-how (Software Change Management, Deployment und Support-Dokumentation) Selbständiges Arbeiten, insbesondere Troubleshooting-Fähigkeiten während Major Incidents
