With over 4 million domains and more than 2 million customers, we, as an IONOS company, are among the largest web hosting providers worldwide. We operate two TÜV-certified data centers with over 70,000 servers. Our products are diverse and form the backbone of our success, but they only come to life through our amazing employees.





Our admin team consists of approximately 12 colleagues located at our two offices in Berlin and Karlsruhe. Together, we manage the Linux and UNIX server systems, and despite the physical distance, teamwork for us is more than just a phrase. We are a team that performs our job with passion and enthusiasm, all pulling together and - when necessary - gladly going the extra mile to ensure that the systems at STRATO always function perfectly. Tasks

Further development and maintenance of our servers, including associated storage systems and network components. Automation of recurring tasks and administrative processes within the system landscape. Designing and implementing new high-performance infrastructures. Cross-departmental realization of projects. Daily video chats with the entire team, as well as in-person meetings with colleagues.

Qualifications

Are you familiar with working on the console, have experience in administrating Linux servers, or perhaps even have relevant formal training? Then the most important requirement is already met! We are not looking for a perfect all-rounder, but for personalities eager to grow at STRATO and learn new things. From Ansible, FreeIPA, Galera, Podman to Oracle DB or Pacemaker and HA-Proxy – the list of technologies you can learn at STRATO is extensive. You work thoroughly agile. This also means you critically question your work and don't rest on previously acquired knowledge. To fit with us optimally, you should act self-organized and solution-oriented and have the necessary awareness for relevant security issues. Fluent German & English skills, both written and spoken.
